June 19th birding in Eastern Alameda County

Today Therasa MeGovern and I decided to bird the eastern count and tip toe into the Delta, bit and pecies of San Joanquin county.
W e had a wonderful day starting by seeking Dublin Burrowing Owls, finding a family of 5 , later in the day on our return while exiting HY580 we found two more Burrowing owls.
We then drove to Sunol seeking a rumor of a Tri-Color Black Bird's in Sunol. No luck.
On Patterson Pass we found another family of 5 Burrowing Owls .
Our luck was good we found the adult male Blue Grosbeak and maybe the female too. I went to get my scope to posivtively I.D. the female and she had left. Also present was a Bullocks Oriole, Bewick's Wren and many male Brown-headed Cowbirds.
Again eastern side of the pass we found another Burrowing Family of 6.
More owls were found at the Byron Airport, also Logerhead Shrikes and Swainson Hawk
